La Zona Muerta

Was thinking about Vegeta sacrificing his pride to take the Majin power up shortcut and then, ultimately, sacrificing himself. *sniff* One of two moments in Dragon Ball that still get me a touch choked up.

I used a “brush” in Procreate that was more like using ink. Mixed results, at least as far as I was concerned. I like the slightly rougher look but then it would make marks I wasn’t making myself. Toriyama-sensei used pens, particularly a weird, old nib holder that he sort of got used to… and I’m the guy that will sit there and shave pixels to achieve certain line weights but I didn’t have it in me today. I may have preferred the pencils I did for this but pass two on the inks meant my hands were about done for the day. This is where it will remain.
