We’ve lost another one… the great George Lowe. You likely know him best for being Space Ghost on SGC2C, but he was also Brak’s dad on The Brak Show and a zillion other Adult Swim shows. I like trying to ape the mighty Alex Toth, so I dug out a copy of the Toth penned Space Ghost model sheet and did my thing. Toth, obviously, is hard to capture, so sure and clean was his line… two things my art is NOT, so this looks a little heavy handed to me in places but… I guess that’s my style shining thru. I dunno. I don’t have a style.
Saddens me to think that the SGC2C crew is pretty well gone… Lowe… C. Martin Croker… Sonny Sharrock I think passed away before the show started… sigh.
